I start by going over the tools needed and safety aspects needed to start out, yes you’ll need some tools but if you maybe have already bought them but struggling to get going, I’ll help you at all stages.
Then in real time I will show you how to cut glass , what to practice on and tips to help you learn faster, I’ll show cutting straight lines and curves using a couple of tools.
I will show you how to set up a simple grinder, and best methods to grind your glass to shape.
And finally onto soldering, going through the safety items needed, how to prep your glass and easy ways to get your soldering done neatly. I’ll also go through edge soldering too.
You’ll be a dab hand at it in no time!

A bit about me
Hi I’m Claire
I fell in love with stained glass after trying many other crafts! I love that you have to slow right down to complete pieces, the learning was extra long as I couldn’t find any classes. After being asked many times “how do you make it”? I decided to teach .. I’m just going into my third year teaching this wonderful art and now I have an online course for you to do at home.
Its all recorded in real time so you have a proper chance to learn and create at a slower pace .
